US Should Prosecute Crimes Against Humanity (Sen. Dick Durbin)
June 24th, 2008
This bipartisan hearing is an attempt to establish a new crime to be prosecuted so that those who are guilty of crimes against humanity can’t seek safe haven in the United States. The testimony of the witnesses was excellent. Most touching was Daoud Hari, who has written a book called The Translator, which I recommend, which is his first-hand account of the genocide in Darfur.
