Modernizing and repairing our nation’s ailing public schools is not only good for students, it is an important way to stimulate the economy. The 21st Century High-Performing Public Schools Facilities Act would create hundreds of thousands of good-paying construction jobs. After three consecutive months of job loss, it is critical that we pass more legislation that puts Americans back to work. This school construction bill would do just that.
