I announced my support for Senator Obama before the debates began, but when Obama said in the course of the debate that he would support diplomatic initiatives with countries that currently hold adversarial relations with the United States, I knew he was my candidate.

I believe that America’s first line of defense is good foreign relations. Yes, the world is in a state of constant change, terrorism is a very serious threat, and America must protect its interest. But bellicose rhetoric and refusal to negotiate have not made the world safer.

A President Obama will make our world safer; will restore our national image; and remind us of the many benefits of peace, stability and human rights.
