It is a great day for college football, and it’s certainly a great day for the state of Florida and for the University of Florida.  Last night, the Florida Fighting Gators clearly showed themselves to be our national college football champions with a 41-14 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes.  Before the game, Sen. Brown and I made a friendly wager that the senator from the losing state must do push-ups equal to the total score of the game. In the spirit of good-sportsmanship, he kept his end of the deal today, and was able to do 42 push-ups – quite a few more than most people could do.  He represented Ohio proudly.
