Gerald Ford served our country with distinction as President, Vice President, and as a leader in Congress. At a time of great difficulty for the nation, he restored honor to the institution of the presidency and renewed confidence in government. Grateful for his leadership and lifetime commitment to public service, Kitty and I join with all Americans in celebrating President Ford’s life and mourning his passing.
